The Climate in Kenya

Kenya has three different climate zones.
1. The Moderate Climate in the Cental Highlands In the highlands the climate is moderate with a lot of seasonal variations and cold nights. The temperature are changing: in July and August it is at least 10°C and in January and February it is 25°C the highest.
2. The Tropical Climate at the Coast At the coast and on the islands there is a tropical climate with a high humidity and nice cool monsum winds. The average temperatures are between 20°C and 30°C. The most warm months are from January till May and from October till December.
In the rain season there are strong rainfall mostly between April and June. The month which are most dry are January and February.
3. The Hot and Dry Climate next to the Lakes At Lake Victoria and Lake Toscana in the dry north of Kenya there is a tropical climate with very high temperatures (up to 45°C) and sometimes there is a lot of rainfall, too.
