Scripture Union is an international, interdenominational and evangelical mission organisation.
It was founded in 1867 in England and it´s working among children, youngsters and families in 139 countries all over the world.
In each country where Scripture Union exists, we seek to fulfil the aims of Scripture Union in ways most appropriate to the culture of that country. We encourage national leadership and membership of Scripture Union movements, including staff, volunteers and governing bodies. In most countries the number of staff is very small compared to the large number of volunteers. While our ministries may vary in nature, around the globe our movements are united by our Aims, Belief and Working Principles.
