Sunday School Teacher Training at Redeemed Gospel Church

The owner of Trusted Hands Academy who is affiliated with Scripture Union invited me for a Sunday School Teacher Training to her church. She is in charge of the Sunday School for all Redeemed Gospel Church in this area and was inviting the teachers from eight churches.
Therefore on the 25th of February 2017 I went to the Redeemed Gospel Church - The Good Shepherd at Nakuru-Pipeline and 20 teachers from different Redeemed Gospel Churches from the district came for the training.
After the introduction of her, I was leading some children worship songs.
Then Reverend Nganga who is the pastor in charge gave us a small devotional about Psalm 78:1-8.
After that I taught about “Why shall we evangelise Children”. Then we were singing some children movement songs.
The second lesson I taught about “How do I teach a Bible Lesson”.
Then we separated the teachers into four groups and each group had to prepare a Bible Lesson for a specific age group.
After Lunch two groups were presenting their Bible Lesson and we had lots of fun. After each presentation we discussed together who we can improve ourselves.
We had a great time together and they have asked me to offer further training on a monthly schedule. Please pray for those teachers that God may bless them in their Sunday schools. Thank.

Teacher Training at AIC Kabarnet

From the 29th of April till the 2nd of May 2015 AIC Kabarnet Farm is making a Vocational Bible School (VBS) for children. Therefore they were inviting us as Scripture Union to hold a brief training for their Sundayschool Teachers. Therefore Joseph and I wnt to Kabarnet on the 28th of April 2015.
Six Sundayschool Teachers and the church pastor were attending our training. After the welcoming, Joseph was introducing the ministry of Scripture Union. Then he spoke about how to organize a lesson according to the different age groups.
After a small break I spoke about Visual Aids and how important it is to use them in the children´s ministry. I gave them also several practical examples.
The church has asked Scripture Union for material for the VBS with the motto “Jesus died for our sins”. Now Joseph was explaing them how to use the materials.
There was a material for nursery children, children in the age of 4 to 6, 7 to 12 and 13 to 15. From each age group one teacher was coming and he took now these materials.
After all we had lunch together.
